Woke up this morning Gave thanks for the sun Another day has begun Opened the window for the breeze Bird songs greeted I Sips of my favorite brew Clock don’t stop so it’s time to go Got to hit the pavement to be paid There is a will to win the time is now to grow A my time to shine A my time to shine A my time to shine am about to blow A my time to shine A my time to shine A my time to shine am a gonna be like the sun So hard not to consider who violated I You are of no value needless you try In all honest that’s why Forgiveness is so hard to come by never mind A my time to shine A my time to shine A my time to shine am about to blow A my time to shine A my time to shine A my time to shine am a gonna be like the sun In this mind of mine I have a good feeling Changes is needed so I must make positive moves Focus on me own foot Nuh worry bout the next man shoes Nuh Day A my time to shine A my time to shine A my time to shine am about to blow A my time to shine A my time to shine A my time to shine am a gonna be like the sun
